iPhone and Android launch addendum

This addendum covers mobile-app use, app-store platform dependencies, third-party processors, device limitations, and app return/checkout flows.

Aligned keeps bookings, messages, and payments organized in one place so support can help when needed.

Mobile platform dependencies

  • Aligned may depend on Apple, Google, Stripe, email providers, analytics/error monitoring, hosting/cloud storage, calendar providers, and practitioner-owned video/session tools.
  • Aligned is not responsible for third-party outages, Stripe delays, practitioner session-platform failures, user device/internet issues, Apple/Google platform issues, or app-store availability.
  • Users are responsible for accurate account, payment, contact, device, and security information.

App return and notifications

  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment is confirmed by Stripe/webhook/payment source of truth, even if the mobile browser returns to the app.
  • Failed, canceled, incomplete, or expired payments do not create confirmed bookings.
  • Push/email/SMS-style notifications, if enabled, are convenience notices and do not replace checking My Account > My Bookings.

Apple, Google, and mobile checkout

  • Aligned may be available through Apple App Store and Google Play, and users must comply with Apple/Google terms.
  • Apple/Google are not responsible for Aligned marketplace services, practitioners, bookings, payments, refunds, support, content, or claims.
  • App availability, updates, device compatibility, notifications, permissions, and mobile return states are not guaranteed.
  • Stripe/payment web checkout may open outside the app. Purchases/bookings through Stripe are marketplace service payments and are not Apple/Google-provided practitioner services.
  • Account deletion/deactivation must be available through in-app or web request paths as required by app stores.
  • Apple and Google are not responsible for Aligned marketplace services, practitioners, bookings, payments, refunds, content, support, or claims.
