Data rights

Account deactivation, deletion, and retention

Requests can be submitted through available account settings or by contacting hello@alignedspiritual.com. Some records may need to be retained for bookings, payments, taxes, chargebacks, fraud prevention, legal compliance, safety, and dispute handling.

Marketplace-introduced clients stay on-platform for communication, rescheduling, booking, payment, follow-up, and rebooking. Agreed time changes stay on the original Aligned booking record unless policy, applicable law, or an agreement recorded through Aligned requires another outcome.

Deletion and deactivation

  • Deactivation may pause access while preserving booking/payment/support records needed for marketplace operation and legal protection.
  • Deletion requests are reviewed before permanent deletion or de-identification, especially where bookings, reviews, chargebacks, payout, safety, tax, or legal records remain active.
  • Deleting or deactivating an account may not immediately erase records that Aligned must retain for payments, taxes, disputes, fraud prevention, backups, legal obligations, and platform safety.

Retention and safeguards

  • Aligned may retain account, booking, payment, payout, message, review, moderation, admin-note, device/log, and acceptance records as needed for stated purposes.
  • Aligned uses reasonable safeguards, but no app, network, cloud service, device, payment processor, or messaging system can be perfectly secure.
  • Canada/U.S. launch data may be processed or stored cross-border in Canada, the United States, or other locations used by service providers.

Deletion details and privacy requests

  • Users may request deletion/deactivation through available account settings or by contacting support.
  • Deletion/deactivation may remove, hide, anonymize, deactivate, or retain profile/content depending on data type, account state, legal need, safety need, backup state, or active booking/payment/dispute status.
  • Data may be retained for bookings, payments, taxes, accounting, chargebacks, fraud, legal compliance, safety, moderation, support, disputes, audits, backups, and platform integrity.
  • Aligned reviews deletion and deactivation requests and may need to verify identity before acting on privacy requests.
  • Privacy, access, correction, deletion/deactivation, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and complaint requests may be sent to hello@alignedspiritual.com.
