Profile policy

Practitioner profile content policy

Profiles present services available through Aligned. They should be accurate, client-facing, and free of instructions that redirect Aligned-introduced clients away from the platform.

Clients first introduced through Aligned must remain on-platform for communication, booking, payment, follow-up, and rebooking related to that Aligned relationship. This policy is not intended to claim ownership over legitimate pre-existing practitioner relationships that were not introduced through Aligned.

Allowed profile content

  • Display name, photo, bio, specialties, service types, pricing, availability, and badges.
  • Language that explains services delivered through Aligned.
  • A practitioner business name or legally required business disclosure, as long as it is not used to redirect Aligned clients to outside booking, payment, or messaging.
  • Approved Aligned-generated Zoom links or session instructions shown through the confirmed Aligned booking flow.
  • Verified reviews generated only from eligible completed Aligned bookings.

Prohibited content

  • Email addresses, phone numbers, website links, QR codes, outside booking links, payment links, or payment instructions intended for Aligned clients.
  • Social handles or usernames when used to redirect Aligned clients to off-platform messaging, booking, payment, follow-up, or rebooking.
  • Direct instructions asking Aligned clients to contact, book, pay, or continue the relationship outside Aligned.
  • False or misleading credentials, impersonation, stolen content, deceptive claims, guaranteed outcomes, or medical, legal, financial, emergency, crisis, or mental health claims.
  • Practitioners cannot manually insert, import, or create their own verified reviews.

Where the policy applies

  • Bio, captions, banners, service descriptions, follow-up notes, client-visible instructions, and other public profile text.
  • Photos, certificates, intro videos, screenshots, attachments, and uploaded media must not accidentally expose contact details, QR codes, outside booking links, payment links, private documents, or third-party content without rights or consent.
  • The standard is objective: content is prohibited when it provides outside contact/payment/booking information, asks an Aligned-introduced client to leave the platform, or reasonably functions as a workaround for Aligned booking, payment, messaging, review, or safety controls.

Moderation and enforcement

  • Aligned may block, flag, or review content that shares contact details or off-platform instructions.
  • Content may be blocked or removed. Practitioners may receive notice and a chance to correct content where appropriate.
  • Serious, deceptive, unsafe, or repeated violations may lead to immediate restriction, deactivation, or suspension.
  • Policy acceptance, moderation events, and enforcement decisions may be logged for safety and compliance.
