Mentor terms

Mentorship boundaries and developing-practitioner support

Mentors are independent providers who may offer teaching, guidance, feedback, and mentorship through Aligned while using their own session setup.

Marketplace-introduced clients stay on-platform for communication, rescheduling, booking, payment, follow-up, and rebooking. Agreed time changes stay on the original Aligned booking record unless policy, applicable law, or an agreement recorded through Aligned requires another outcome.

Mentor responsibilities

  • Mentors must describe what they teach, mentorship style, trainee capacity, pricing, session length, boundaries, and expectations accurately.
  • Mentorship does not guarantee trainee approval, public visibility, bookings, income, client results, or professional certification.
  • Mentors must keep mentorship booking, payment, trainee communication, records, and mentor requests inside Aligned, and use the approved session/video method shown in the Aligned booking.

Developing-practitioner boundaries

  • Mentors may manage whether a linked Developing Practitioner (Trainee) is still in training or ready for public developing-practitioner sessions, but Aligned and/or admins may still apply readiness, safety, and policy gates.
  • Mentorship reviews should remain separate from client booking reviews and developing-practitioner session reviews.
  • Mentor session access details are private and appear only for confirmed mentorship bookings.

Mentor and developing-practitioner boundaries

  • Mentorship is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal, financial, business, employment, certification, or guaranteed professional training advice.
  • Mentorship does not guarantee developing-practitioner approval, public visibility, client readiness, bookings, reviews, income, certification, or success.
  • Mentors may accept, decline, pause, or end developing-practitioner relationships according to platform rules, while Aligned may also apply safety, readiness, payment, compliance, and admin gates.
  • Developing-practitioner reviews, mentorship reviews, and client reviews remain separate.
